1st Grade Homeroom Teacher
Brandon Kendall grew up in the rainy beauty of Port Angeles, Washington. He attended Gonzaga University and graduated with a degree in education in 2003. Brandon fell in love with Montana in 2001 when he was a camp counselor and chose to make Missoula his home in 2004.
What is your teaching philosophy? I believe learning is about experiencing and participating in education.
Is there anyone in particular who has inspired you as a teacher? I draw inspiration from talented educators like Siegfried Englemann, Kathy Collins, Nancy Atwell, Lucy Calkins and Marilyn Burns.
What do you love most about teaching? I love to learn and appreciate the challenge of teaching.
What do you like to do when you are not teaching? I love to hike, run, take pictures, bike and play lacrosse.
