What is your teaching philosophy? I believe staying present in the classroom, in the community and in the world is the best way to gain and share knowledge. Teaching is about supporting, encouraging and testing the waters.
Is there anyone in particular who has inspired you as a teacher? Every time I am lucky enough to stand in front of a group of students I am inspired.
What was your most rewarding experience as a teacher? I have my most rewarding experiences all the time. My last would be -- and this is a huge one -- writing and directing the 2011 Sussex School Play.
What do you love most about teaching? It's impossible to love one thing most. I think we go into teaching because we love it all.
What do you like to do when you are not teaching? When I'm not teaching I spend my time with my family and friends. We love to get outside, do yoga, cook.
