In this session we will connect with nature, observe our environment, and use it as a source of inspiration. Student artists will be introduced to renowned nature artists, explore our nearby natural environment, and create with and within nature. The camp will travel to local natural spaces and trailheads. This session will include instruction on observational drawing, journaling, plein-air painting, land-art installation, and mixed-media techniques incorporating natural elements.
