This extended-day offering supports students in exploring and developing their personal songwriting process by outlining both the core principles and showing a wide spectrum of what the songwriting process can be. Together we will explore instrumental and digital accompaniment, beats, field recordings, self-accompaniment, and lyric writing and then practice pairing instruments with lyrics. Students will be supported and encouraged by the class and teacher as they write songs, and everyone will have an opportunity to share their process and perform one song.
